Patricia M. Chang’s desire for change and transformation has helped to maintain her position as a key player in the Westmount and Montreal real estate scene for 28 years.
As a young professional architect who had been an award winning student, she chose to sell real estate much to the surprise of her physician father and head nurse mother! However, real estate sales filled her desires to learn about the business world, see all the Westmount luxury homes for sale and exciting Montreal condominium projects that were being built and/or renovated and to meet new and interesting people.
Patricia placed twice in the Top Ten Club for Royal Lepage (i.e. 6th and 7th provincially amongst thousands of real estate brokers) even during challenging economic times. When The Chairman’s Club (top 1% of real estate brokers Canada wide) was inaugurated, she was honored to become a member. Her Lifetime Award of Excellence honored her consistency in earnings.
In 1998, she introduced fellow real estate brokers (including those working under different banners) , clients and the community by inviting them to a lecture about the validity of feng shui in architecture in which she was a lead organizer and a member of the discussion panel, held at McGill University. Having seen the powerful positive changes in her own life, she started to incorporate feng shui priniciples when selling real estate to the delight of sellers. As she and the internet both continued to evolve, she realized that she had to form her own firm to express her unique methodology and exploit the power of the internet, which the traditional real estate brokerage firms were not doing at that time. Thus, in 2005, Westmount Realty was born.
As a quiet trendsetter, she was one of the first to: establish a strong online presence using S.E.O. (search engine optimization) to attract international buyers; offer testimonials on her website; and offer staging as part of her services. Young university graduates have told her that her success and respect achieved in real estate sales inspired them to seek selling real estate as a profession which in previous years , had not been viewed as a career option.
She has appeared on a television show regarding money matters and on television & radio news for her opinion on either the luxury real estate market of Westmount or feng shui. She has interested journalists to showcase her properties in various media. see media

David’s extensive background in architecture, construction, acquisitions and development has been the perfect foundation for a successful sales career in residential and commercial real estate.
A native Montrealer, he also is an award winning McGill University architecture graduate with a minor in Management. He worked as a professional architect for 5 years designing Montreal commercial buildings. The next 20 years were spent with the Alexis Nihon Group/REIT/Homburg REIT as Senior Vice President of Acquisitions & Development where he consistently met and exceeded established goals and added value to shareholders. Subsequently, he obtained his general contractor’s license to further increase his expertise and was involved in the development of luxury condominiums .
David obtained his chartered real estate broker licence which are the credentials required to open a real estate company and/or become an agency executive officer of a firm, a role which he will soon assume. He enjoys working with his wife Patricia, and the clients appreciate their complementary teamwork. His knowledge and experience is vast and is able to assist clients on many different levels beyond a typical real estate transaction. Perhaps he may be giving simple architectural ideas to increase the value of a property either for Seller or Buyer, ensuring the successful closing of a deal following a building inspection because of his knowledge in construction or helping clients in understanding condominium agreements or statements. David has previously served on the board of directors of Quebec's Urban Development institute (UDI), and Montreal's West Island Business Development Council. Currently, he is a member of the Board of Trade of Metropolitain Montreal. He is an active volunteer fundraiser, especially for the Pointe Claire Old Timers Tournament which raises over $100k yearly for community charities. A former marathon runner, he currently cycles long distance for charities and enjoys hockey, golf, swimming and ballroom dancing. David is fluent in English, French and Italian.
Charline Montrose, who also grew up in Montreal, is a great asset to Westmount Realty, bringing with her 17 years of experience from a Real Estate Corporation. She has a Bachelor of Arts from Université du Québec à Montréal with three certificates: Social and Labor Law, English and Psychology. In addition, her passion for fashion and design helps her in preparing houses for sale.
